Official Dark Shadows Movie Website Launches

With little over a day to go until the the first Dark Shadows movie trailer is unveiled, Warner Bros have launched their official website for the film. The opening splash image seems to confirm that the caption seen in yesterday's preview footage is the film's logo. The site also announces that the trailer will be available on Apple tomorrow ahead of its broadcast on Ellen, with a handy countdown clock in place and reveals the movie's tagline, "Strange is relative". the Dark Shadows trailer will also begin running in cinemas this weekend as part of screenings of 21 Jump Street. The film is based on the 1980s television series which starred a fledgling Johnny Depp, who also makes a cameo appearance in the new version.

It looks like it was worth the wait!!! Great to see homage paid to the late Dan Curtis as the television's creator!!!

They would do well to use the image of Barnabas and Josette as the official promotional lead since that one is so beautifully photographed. The one with Barnabas (Depp) surrounded by his new family and friends on the WB site is probably what they will go with. I don't like it as well as the more romantic looking one.
