I am surprised the dvd set is not available here in the states.
Am buying this one just for the extras--although am curious to see the quality of the episodes, too, from this UK release.
I live in the US but have a Phillips DVP5990 (very reasonably priced)that can play all regions...
Thanks for this plug!
I only got into Dark Shadows about a month ago but this is now on my list of things to buy. Thanks for this news page - it's very helpful.
Wow, this is another Classic chilly DVD new Cover-feature set as well..'so, chilly DS's BARNABAS. we finally got our deluxe DARK SHADOWS: Complete Original Series, limited Edition set (Barnabas Collins Coffin) it's beautiful! We're watching/on disc 3 now (of 131 disc...'WOW, quite a way to go!!). It's a treasure set and the clearity/visuals are stunning I got all misty eyes when seeing the opening/Victoria-Alexandra' Moltka on the train to Collin's Port/Collinwood. So many great memories growing up watching the Classic TV Gothic-Supernatural Soap hit.
This is a great dvd I already own the coffin boxse, best of barnabas, fan favourites and the 2 dvds mpi released the vampire curse and haunting of collinwood as I suppose I am a completist when it comes to things but I must say that this is a great introductory to this wonderful series as I myself am from belfast in the uk
