Now that is some good stuff. I love seeing how this movie was made.
Whatever became of the book on the making of the film? Is it out yet?
The Art of the Film book has been delayed, but will still be published.
I noticed Dark Shadows is down to 1 screen (and 4 showtimes) at my local theater, while Avengers is still going strong on multiple screens and Men In Black is taking over...
Now that it's been out for a month or so, is it still too early to tell if the film was a success or a flop? Although there were many things I would have done differently had I been asked to write/direct (LOL) I am still hoping for a sequel (as well as expanded content on a dvd that shows more of the characters). Any word?
I enjoyed the new DS movie despite the more comedic tone.... I hope we get a sequel that brings the great character of Quentin Collins to the canvas. And maybe a 'fun' actor to play Professor Stokes!
And I think Dr Hoffman can be back and survived 'the plunge' somehow...LOL

DARK SHADOWS has a great movie Soundtrack love how the movie opens w/the eerie glow vibe of the origional DS's before it goes into the Classic Moody Blues "Nights in White Satin" as Victoria is on the Train heading to Collinwood. Also, love the special effects & whole visual eerie tone to Dark Shadow's: Director Tim Burton art drawings in the featurette are really amazing, great art there!! Screen Writter/Author Seth Grahame-Smith interview on the "Aint it Cool" w/Henry Knowles is fascinating & creepy fun. Look forward to sequel(s) to honor DARK SHADOWS creepy light forevermore.
