Vintage Look For Dark Shadows Movie?

The new Dark Shadows movie looks set to feature a distinctly retro look, if a recent Tweet from the Ballyhoo Vintage Clothing company is any indication: "We had fun providing a lot of vintage clothing for Dark Shadows and can't wait to see what Tim Burton creates," posted the company on their Twitter feed a few days ago.

Ballyhoo specialises in authentic wardrobe from the 1930s-1970s. To visit their website, click here.

Does this mean we will be able to get to look like Vicki and Maggie at last?:)

This sounds like what I've been telling my DS friends: in order to recapture the funky feel of the original series, it should take place in the mid-60s. That alone would help it stand out from the various revivals. They could always do a little time travel to the present halfway through!

Does this mean the movie will take place in 1968?

The later 20th century and 21st century is a little too advanced for Barnabas Collins. Barnabas Collins with a cell phone or ipad _ not!!!
