Warner Bros. have released some unseen cast portraits from the Dark Shadows movie. Shown are Bella Heathcote as the ghost of Josette duPres; Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins; director Tim Burton with Barnabas' umbrella; and Burton pictured with Helena Bonham Carter as Dr. Julia Hoffman. How icy chilly seeing Ms. Helena Bonner-Carter all roped-up in that blanket. What a cold scene that was in the new DARK SHADOWS movie. I'm like Barnabas don't do that to Dr. Hoffman (your suppose to be great friends) ...'not anymore after that!! Awesome portrait posters: Johnny Depp looks enchanting/lethal as Barnabas Collins (he was awesome!) & love Josette poster alot very icy-chilly BELLA did a great job during multiple characters Victoria, Maggie & Josette. The portrait of Helena being cacoon in a the blanket is a chilly one too: she did a wonderful job as Dr. Hoffman, the facial expression spot on! If they is to be a DS-II (I hope there will be!!) well there's gonna be one very keyed off & angry Doctor (A Vampiere now, I think..'for Barnabas bit her) about. Make it on edge Dramatic scarier...-and that the COLLINS Family move into the West Wings..'QUENTIN is waiting and David loves to explore the grounds of his Home Estate.
Ha! I didn't even notice in the movie that Helena was wrapped in a paisley curtain!! What a great 1970s silly Burton touch.
Hopefully undead Julia will remain trapped at the bottom of the ocean for less time than Barnabas was stuck in that coffin. Maybe some fishing net will drag her up instead of a poor drowned dolphin.
